A leading wiring harness manufacturing company specializing in the design, development, and production of high-quality cable assemblies and electrical wiring solutions for diverse industrial applications.


Position Overview:

The organization is seeking an experienced Sr. Maintenance Engineer to join its Maintenance team. The role holder will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive and breakdown maintenance, IATF documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations within a wiring harness manufacturing environment.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.E. in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience, preferably from the Wiring Harness Manufacturing Industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic logic circuits
  • Perform precision maintenance tasks within limited timeframes, including hands-on work with Komax Automotive Cutting Crimping Machines
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) programs and plans to reduce downtime and maintenance costs
  • Handle machine breakdowns, manage tool requirements, and ensure quick resolution to minimize production impact
  • Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, checklists, and IATF-related documentation
  • Develop new testing boards, modify applicators, and resolve line issues using Poka-Yoke techniques

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic circuits with hands-on maintenance experience
  • Skilled in root cause analysis (RCA) and Poka-Yoke techniques
  • Experienced in preventive maintenance planning and IATF documentation
  • Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate cross-functionally
  • Strong communication skills with accurate documentation and reporting

Special Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience specifically in the Wiring Harness Manufacturing Industry
  • Ability to lead maintenance teams and manage cross-functional projects effectively
  • Knowledge of Poka-Yoke and other problem-solving methodologies
