Position Overview:

The Site Supervisor [Quality] will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance at every stage of site execution, from incoming material inspection to workmanship verification against approved drawings and specifications. The role requires a disciplined, detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in QA/QC processes, capable of coordinating with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to uphold quality standards and support audit-readiness through accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering preferred, but optional
• ITI or relevant site quality experience is acceptable
• 3+ years of experience in a site quality / QA-QC role, preferably in industrial, PEB / steel structure, or building construction
• Sound understanding of construction materials, testing procedures, and applicable quality codes

Key Responsibilities:

• Check incoming materials such as steel, cement, aggregates, and fasteners for compliance, and reject non-conforming material
• Verify workmanship at each stage of construction against approved drawings and specifications, and ensure rework is completed as required
• Maintain photographic records and QA/QC files for hidden work and ongoing site activities
• Coordinate with the site engineer and subcontractors to correct quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Coordinate with the project consultant to obtain quality approvals and maintain clear, audit-ready records
• Conduct and record routine quality tests, including concrete cube tests, slump tests, weld / bolt checks, levels, and dimensions, while maintaining test registers
• Support third-party, client, and consultant inspections, and maintain documentation required for audits

Skills Required:

• Sound knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality standards / codes
• Disciplined approach to documentation, including photographic records and QA/QC files of hidden work
• Hands-on experience with measuring and testing instruments along with quality documentation practices
• Good communication skills in Hindi, with working knowledge of English considered an advantage

Special Requirements:

• Ability to coordinate with project consultants to obtain quality approvals and maintain clear records
• Experience conducting and recording routine quality tests, including concrete cubes, slump tests, weld / bolt checks, levels, and dimensions
• Capability to support third-party, client, and consultant inspections while maintaining audit-ready documentation
