Site Supervisor(Execution)

Position Overview:

The Site Supervisor will lead day-to-day labour coordination and execution on-site, working closely with the project manager to ensure daily work targets are met, materials are available on time, and any delays are flagged and resolved quickly.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering preferred but optional; relevant site experience is acceptable

Key Responsibilities:

• Hold daily morning meetings with labour contractors to plan and ensure completion of the day’s work
• Coordinate execution based on the project manager’s planned work for upcoming days
• Report progress, issues, and requirements clearly to the project manager
• Raise material requests on time by tracking weekly/monthly schedules and liaising with the purchase team
• Oversee civil work execution and ensure the right manpower is deployed as planned
• Flag delays promptly and plan for timeline rectification

Skills Required:

• Labour Team Management — Aligning and coordinating multiple labour contractors/agencies to complete daily work targets
• Execution Planning & Coordination — Translating the project manager’s plans into daily, actionable site work
• Material Planning & Procurement Liaison — Understanding schedules ahead of time and raising timely material requests with the purchase team
• Progress Reporting — Clearly communicating work status, issues, and requirements to the project manager
• Delay Management — Identifying timeline slippage early and driving rectification
• Solution-Oriented Mindset — Staying positive and practical when resolving daily site challenges

Special Requirements:

• Proven ability to manage labour teams and coordinate multiple agencies simultaneously
• Full-time based at the Hosur site, comfortable in a fast-paced field environment
• Prior experience in industrial construction is essential
