Junior Site Engineer

Position Overview:
The Junior Site Engineer will support execution planning, contractor billing, and site documentation, acting as the coordination link between the quality and execution teams to ensure work is delivered on time and to the required standard.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering
- Sound understanding of civil engineering calculations and site execution processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly contractor bills using detailed quantity measurements, by the 5th of every month
- Assist the senior site engineer in planning and coordinating site work, including labour deployment, to ensure the project stays on timeline
- Maintain site documentation and review the quality supervisor’s files weekly for accuracy
- Coordinate with the site execution supervisor to align labour contractors on timely, quality work
- Act as the bridge between quality and timeline adherence, ensuring accountability across both functions
- Plan ahead for material and manpower needs to meet quality and execution speed goals
Skills Required:
- Civil Calculations & Measurement — Accurately calculating quantities and dimensions for billing and planning
- Execution Planning & Scheduling — Sequencing site work to stay on timeline
- Contractor Billing & Documentation — Preparing monthly bills from detailed measurements
- QA-QC Review — Checking quality records for errors or gaps
- Engineering Markouts — Providing contractors with accurate technical guidance on-site
- Contractor Coordination — Aligning labour contractors for timely, quality work
- Material & Manpower Planning — Anticipating resource needs ahead of time
- Industrial/PEB Knowledge — Familiarity with industrial and steel structure projects
- Problem-Solving — Practical, execution-focused approach to site issues
Special Requirements:
- Full-time based at the Hosur site, comfortable in a fast-paced field environment
- Prior experience in industrial construction is essential
