A design and building firm delivering thoughtfully crafted environments across commercial, hospitality, residential, institutional, and industrial sectors.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Interior Designer who can take ownership of projects from documentation through execution. This role combines drafting, project management, and on-site coordination, requiring someone who can work independently across multiple live projects while ensuring design intent is accurately translated into built outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in interior design practice.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp/Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation, Drafting & Project Management

  • Prepare and maintain BOQs, material trackers, schedules, and vendor correspondence.
  • Produce working drawings, shop drawings, and GFC sets using AutoCAD/SketchUp.
  • Manage multiple projects, tracking budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain organized project files and daily progress reports.

Site Handling & Office Coordination

  • Conduct site visits to supervise execution and ensure design intent is followed.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants for smooth delivery.
  • Handle client presentations, design reviews, and internal documentation.
  • Flag delays or deviations promptly to management.

Construction & Material Knowledge

  • Apply practical knowledge of materials (cement, bricks, finishes) to guide design decisions.
  • Ensure designs align with site conditions, structural feasibility, and material availability.
  • Coordinate with structural/MEP consultants for technical drawing accuracy.

Skills Required:

  • AutoCAD – Mandatory; core drafting tool for all working and construction drawings.
  • SketchUp / Revit – Must-have for 3D modeling and design visualization (BYOD expected).
  • Lumion / D5 Render – Good to have, for high-quality design presentations and client walkthroughs.

Special Requirements:

  • Multi-Project Handling – Ability to manage multiple active interior projects, prioritizing deadlines independently.
  • Vendor & Contractor Coordination – Practical knowledge of how a construction site runs.
  • Full-Time On-Site Availability – Must be available full-time and on-site, with no remote or hybrid working arrangement.
