Position Overview:
The HR Manager will serve as a strategic business partner responsible for managing the full spectrum of human resource functions within the organization. This role demands a proactive leader who can align HR initiatives with business objectives, drive employee engagement, ensure statutory compliance, and build a results-oriented culture. The incumbent will lead the HR team and act as a key link between organizational leadership and its people.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Human Resources or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
- Any graduate with a strong foundation in HR principles and practices will be considered
- Certification in HR management or labor law compliance is an added advantage
- Demonstrated academic or professional exposure to organizational development or industrial relations
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition — from manpower planning and sourcing to onboarding and induction
- Manage and mentor the HR team, delegating responsibilities and ensuring timely delivery of all HR functions
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven workplace culture
- Design, implement, and monitor a robust performance management system aligned with individual KPIs and business objectives
- Oversee payroll processing with accuracy, ensuring timely disbursements and resolution of employee queries
- Ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment Act, and other applicable labor laws
- Develop and execute employee retention strategies to reduce attrition and improve workforce stability
- Lead change management efforts during organizational transitions, restructuring, or policy rollouts
- Partner with department heads to align HR strategy with business goals and operational requirements
- Maintain updated HR records, MIS reports, and documentation in compliance with company policies

- Talent Acquisition: Demonstrated ability to attract, assess, and onboard the right talent across functions and levels
- Performance Management: Proven experience in designing appraisal frameworks and evaluating employee productivity and career growth
- Strategic HR Planning: Ability to align HR goals with broader business objectives and contribute to workforce planning
- Change Management: Capability to guide teams through transitions, policy changes, and organizational restructuring with minimal disruption
- Payroll & Compliance: Working knowledge of payroll systems and labor law compliance across Maharashtra/central applicable regulations
- Team Leadership: Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop an HR team
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
- Analytical Thinking: Data-driven approach to HR metrics, attrition analysis, and workforce planning
Special Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in payroll management and end-to-end processing
- Thorough understanding of HR compliances — PF, ESIC, labor laws, and related statutory obligations
- Prior experience in employee retention programs and implementing strategies that reduce voluntary attrition
- Preference for candidates with exposure to manufacturing, agrochemical, or industrial sector HR environments
- Must be comfortable working in a structured, process-driven organizational setup
