Position Overview:

The Financial Manager will serve as a key pillar of the organization’s financial health — responsible for planning, monitoring, and reporting on all financial activities. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can manage day-to-day financial operations while simultaneously supporting strategic business decisions through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will bring retail finance exposure, statutory compliance knowledge, and the ability to align financial planning with business growth objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and applicable statutory frameworks
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the company’s day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and accountability
• Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
• Develop, monitor, and update budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow plans in alignment with business targets
• Track and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and all banking transactions to ensure liquidity and accuracy
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and ensure timely upkeep of all financial records and documentation
• Monitor inventory valuation and enforce financial controls to minimize discrepancies
• Provide actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management for informed business decision-making
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline financial processes, and drive overall financial efficiency across operations

Skills Required:

• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting
• Strong command over budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management practices
• Sound knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping principles, and financial controls
• Thorough understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP tools for financial documentation and analysis
• Effective leadership capabilities with the ability to coordinate across departments and external stakeholders
• Strong communication skills to present financial data clearly to management and non-financial teams

Special Requirements:

• Must ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
• Expected to regularly analyze sales performance, expense trends, profitability metrics, and overall business health
• Must coordinate effectively with internal accountants, external auditors, banking partners, and tax consultants
• Prior experience in retail finance or fashion/apparel industry will be a distinct advantage
