Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead our finance and accounting operations. The role involves overseeing construction-related accounting, ensuring statutory compliance, managing banking and payments, and driving financial reporting and analysis to support management decision-making within a growing industrial-construction organization.

Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com
  • 15+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience
  • Prior experience in the construction industry preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and finalize Tally entries; handle project-wise invoices, transactions, and cost tracking for construction accounts
  • Manage end-to-end GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, ITC reconciliation) and ensure overall GST/TDS compliance
  • Perform bank and ledger reconciliations; prepare, review, and finalize balance sheets and financial statements
  • Verify and authorize payments; handle RTGS/NEFT transfers and coordinate with banks
  • Conduct data analysis and prepare Excel-based MIS reports for management
  • Supervise junior accounting staff and liaise with auditors/consultants

Skills Required:

  • Advanced Tally skills (entries, reports, MIS) with strong knowledge of GST filing, statutory compliance, and accounting standards
  • Ability to prepare and analyze balance sheets/financial statements, with strong analytical skills for financial data and trends
  • Expertise in bank/account reconciliation and knowledge of payment systems (RTGS/NEFT)
  • Hands-on experience with project billing, contractor invoices, and construction-related transactions
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) combined with team leadership and high attention to detail

Special Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in end-to-end GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and ITC reconciliation
  • Strong hands-on capability in bank/account reconciliation and balance sheet preparation/analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in construction industry accounting, including project billing and contractor invoices
