Position Overview:
The Purchase & Sourcing Executive will support vendor development, procurement coordination, and cost optimization activities within the manufacturing setup. This role is critical in ensuring timely material availability, supplier performance tracking, and structured purchase documentation aligned with production requirements.
Qualifications:
BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2–4 years of experience in purchase, sourcing, or vendor management within a manufacturing environment
Exposure to procurement processes for mechanical and electrical materials is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying, evaluating, and developing vendors for mechanical, electrical, and industrial materials
Collect, compare, and analyze quotations, price lists, and technical specifications from multiple suppliers
Maintain structured procurement records, including vendor details, pricing history, and purchase documentation
Prepare MIS reports on purchase status, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives
Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts, and Quality teams to ensure smooth material flow
Support negotiation processes and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of purchase, sourcing, and supply chain processes
Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple vendors and internal departments
Good communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and professional email communication
Analytical ability to compare quotations and evaluate supplier performance
Special Requirements:
Female candidate preferred
Strong vendor evaluation and quotation analysis capability
Good Excel skills for MIS reporting and cost analysis
Ability to prepare structured purchase reports and track supplier performance
