Position Overview:
The Shift Supervisor / Production Officer will manage day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring shift targets are achieved with strict compliance to quality, safety, and operational standards. This role requires strong leadership, process knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with production, maintenance, and quality teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with plastic injection moulding machines and processes
Strong exposure to shift handling, manpower supervision, and production documentation

Key Responsibilities:
Drive end-to-end shift operations ensuring planned production targets are achieved
Supervise day-to-day plastic injection moulding production activities
Monitor machine performance, cycle times, process parameters, and output quality
Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance and quality teams for smooth operations
Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality benchmarks
Maintain production data, shift reports, manpower utilization, and rejection analysis
Reduce downtime, rejection levels, and implement productivity improvement measures
Ensure discipline, 5S adherence, and proper handover during shift transitions

Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding processes and machine operations
Proven ability in shift handling, manpower supervision, and issue escalation
Basic machine troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Exposure to production planning & control in high-volume environments
Awareness of quality standards—automotive industry exposure preferred
Effective communication, coordination skills, and reporting discipline

Special Requirements:
Experience in the Automotive Plastic Industry preferred
Ability to handle production shifts independently
Exposure to high-volume moulding environments
