Company Profile:

A leading wiring harness manufacturing company specializing in the design, development, and production of high-quality cable assemblies and electrical wiring solutions for diverse industrial applications.


Position Overview:

The organization is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to manage quality assurance activities within its wiring harness manufacturing operations. The role holder will be responsible for handling customer complaints, maintaining IATF-compliant documentation, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Electronics
  • 3–6 years of experience in Quality (Manufacturing / Automotive preferred); experience in the Wiring Harness Manufacturing Industry preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and resolve customer complaints and quality issues in a timely manner through effective communication and coordination
  • Prepare and maintain IATF-compliant documentation, including 8D, CAPA, and 6W2H reports
  • Use 7 QC tools to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Monitor in-process and final product quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
  • Drive Poka-Yoke and Kaizen initiatives while coordinating with production and maintenance teams

Skills Required:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage customer complaints and coordinate quality-related issues effectively
  • Sound knowledge of IATF standards with hands-on experience in preparing 8D, CAPA, and 6W2H reports
  • Proficient in using 7 QC tools and root cause analysis techniques for defect identification and resolution
  • Strong understanding of in-process and final inspection standards, with attention to detail and adherence to specifications
  • Working knowledge of Poka-Yoke and Kaizen methodologies, with the ability to coordinate cross-functionally for process improvement

Special Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with quality tools (7 QC tools, 8D, CAPA, 6W2H) is essential
  • Candidates with a background in wiring harness manufacturing are preferred
  • Proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle audits and compliance requirements under pressure
