Position Overview:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for executing automation and control system projects across various sites, from engineering and configuration to testing and commissioning. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate PLC/DCS programming, seamless hardware interfacing, and successful FAT/SAT execution while coordinating with internal teams and customers to meet project timelines and technical standards.

Qualifications:
BE / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
Technical education aligned with industrial automation and process control systems
Hands-on exposure to project execution environments is preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Drive end-to-end ownership of assigned automation project execution activities
Develop and modify PLC programs as per project specifications
Understand and interpret P&ID and process drawings for accurate system design
Perform I/O configuration, hardware interfacing, and signal mapping
Develop DCS databases and graphics in Emerson DeltaV systems
Execute SCADA development and configuration for process automation
Conduct software testing, FAT, and SAT as per project and client requirements
Generate technical documentation, reports, and testing records
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and site stakeholders to meet delivery timelines

Skills Required:
Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, Servo systems, and VFDs
Strong knowledge of field instruments and hardware interfacing
Experience in DCS database and SCADA development for process automation
Ability to understand control logic, interlocks, and process sequences
Practical exposure to software testing, FAT, and SAT activities
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills during commissioning
Clear communication skills for coordination, reporting, and client interaction

Special Requirements:
Mandatory working knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, Servo, and VFD systems
Experience in Emerson DeltaV DCS is highly preferred
Willingness to travel and work at project sites across multiple locations
Good communication skills with fluency in English and Hindi
