Position Overview:

SR Primes is looking for a Software Developer who can work on live, production systems used every day. In this role, you will turn rough ideas from the founders into clear written plans, then build, test and ship features using AI coding tools. You will work across the company’s internal platforms, Plexus and Reimagined, and contribute to planning and building modules of its new learning platform. The role suits someone who uses AI to build faster while verifying every output for correctness, and who can explain their work clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • B.Tech / Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • 0 – 2 years of experience; freshers, final-year students and recent graduates are welcome
  • Basic working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript or Python (self-taught is acceptable)
  • A GitHub profile or a working project that demonstrates hands-on building

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Requirements: Convert rough ideas from the founders into clear written plans before any development begins, and raise clarifying questions instead of making assumptions
  • Documentation: Study how existing systems are structured and keep technical documentation accurate and current as systems evolve
  • AI-Assisted Development: Use AI coding tools to build features, fix bugs and implement changes across Plexus and Reimagined, and contribute to planning and building modules of the new learning platform
  • Quality Assurance and Verification: Test, question and review all AI-generated output, catching errors, flawed logic and unintended side effects before they reach production
  • Communication and Demonstration: Demonstrate completed work in a staging environment and explain what was changed, and why, in plain language to non-technical stakeholders

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated experience building with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot, with at least one project that can be shown
  • Strong logical thinking and a methodical approach to diagnosing why something does not work
  • Ability to read, understand and validate AI-generated code rather than copy-pasting it
  • Clear written and spoken English, with the ability to explain technical work simply
  • Proactive habit of asking questions when requirements are unclear
  • Exposure to or willingness to learn Django, React, Next.js, Git and Docker on live systems

Special Requirements:

  • Verification mindset: Test and question everything AI produces; never blindly copy-paste
  • Proven AI building experience: Already build with tools like Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot, with at least one project to show
  • Clear communication: Write and explain clearly in English, and ask questions instead of guessing
  • Availability: Free to work full-time for 6 to 9 months
  • Work mode: On-site at the Baner, Pune office; this is not a remote role
