Position Overview:
The Store Executive will act as a critical operational link between the Production, PPC, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Sales, Finance, HR, and Maintenance departments, ensuring smooth coordination and timely execution of management directives. This role is central to tracking operational performance, consolidating management reporting, and supporting process improvement initiatives across the organization, contributing directly to operational efficiency and business continuity.
Qualifications:
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (any relevant certification will add value)
- Prior experience in a relevant industry (manufacturing / wiring harness / cable assembly preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the coordination link between Production, PPC, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Sales, Finance, HR, and Maintenance; follow up on management instructions and ensure timely closure of action points
- Monitor production schedules, delivery timelines, and material availability; identify bottlenecks and escalate deviations or critical issues to leadership promptly
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, consolidating departmental data for management reviews
- Maintain accurate trackers of management decisions and action plans, ensuring proper documentation at every stage
- Support the rollout of new systems and SOPs, monitor compliance, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, and manage special projects as assigned by leadership
Skills Required:
- Strong capability in logistics and supply chain management, including end-to-end planning and coordination of warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations
- Hands-on proficiency in SAP / ERP systems for order processing, inventory management, and reporting
- Effective vendor negotiation and stakeholder management skills across suppliers, manufacturers, and customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to track KPIs such as quality, stock levels, delivery timelines, and costs to drive data-informed decisions
- Demonstrated leadership and team management ability, capable of independently handling multiple projects and driving accountability across teams
Special Requirements:
- Proven expertise in logistics and supply chain coordination, covering warehousing, transportation, and distribution
- Working knowledge of SAP / ERP tools for inventory and reporting functions
- Ability to proactively track operational metrics and escalate deviations in production, delivery, or material availability in a timely manner
