Position Overview:
The Store Manager will serve as the operational anchor of the store, taking full ownership of day-to-day functioning, team performance, and business outcomes. This role is pivotal in ensuring that sales targets are consistently met, the customer experience remains exceptional, and the store reflects the brand’s premium identity through disciplined operations and visual excellence. The incumbent will directly influence store profitability and contribute to the organization’s continued growth in the Nanded market.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
- Prior experience in retail store management, preferably in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle segments
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets in a retail environment
- Familiarity with retail POS systems and basic reporting tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end daily store operations, ensuring seamless functioning across all touchpoints
- Lead, supervise, and actively motivate the sales team to maintain high performance and service standards
- Drive monthly sales and profitability targets through strategic floor management and team alignment
- Deliver a consistently excellent customer experience and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Manage inventory levels, oversee stock movement, and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid shortfall or surplus
- Ensure the store maintains attractive visual merchandising and a premium brand presentation at all times
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and swift resolution
- Monitor individual staff performance, identify development needs, and provide on-floor training and guidance
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and maintain operational records for review
- Ensure strict adherence to store policies, SOPs, and compliance standards across all operations
Skills Required:
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to drive performance in a retail environment
- Strong inventory management skills with experience in stock tracking, replenishment planning, and loss prevention
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships that support loyalty and repeat business
- Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, sound decisions on the store floor
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination, team briefings, and customer engagement
- Results-driven mindset with a strong understanding of retail KPIs and business targets
Special Requirements:
- Must have hands-on experience overseeing daily retail store operations with minimal supervision
- Prior experience leading and motivating a sales team in a target-driven retail setting is essential
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales and profitability goals
- Practical knowledge of inventory management, stock movement, and replenishment processes is mandatory
