Position Overview
The Business Development Executive is a growth-critical role at SR Primes, responsible for acquiring new client organizations and converting them into active, revenue-generating accounts. This is not a support role — the BDE owns the entire new client journey from prospecting and outreach to pitching, negotiation, and onboarding. The BDE works closely with the CEO on revenue strategy and is expected to build a consistent pipeline of quality mandates that fuel the delivery team. This role demands someone who has already operated in a B2B sales environment, understands the consultative sales cycle, and can independently drive client acquisition with minimal hand-holding.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline — MBA or a business-related background is an added advantage
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, both verbal and written
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in B2B business development, corporate sales, or client acquisition
- A demonstrated inclination toward sales, networking, and relationship-building with senior stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and prospect new client organizations across target industries and segments
- Initiate outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and professional networks to generate leads and set up discovery meetings
- Pitch SR Primes’ staffing solutions to HR heads, talent acquisition managers, and business decision-makers
- Convert prospective clients into signed service agreements with defined hiring mandates
- Own the onboarding of new clients — collect job descriptions, understand hiring needs, and brief the delivery team
- Track and report all prospect interactions, pipeline status, and deal stages in the internal CRM on a daily basis
- Coordinate with the delivery team to ensure client expectations are met post-onboarding
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
- Work toward monthly new client acquisition and revenue targets as defined by the CEO
Skills Required
- Confident verbal communication with the ability to hold structured, professional conversations with senior decision-makers
- Persuasion and objection-handling skills with a solution-oriented approach
- Self-motivated and target-driven with strong follow-through on leads and commitments
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, email tools, and LinkedIn for prospecting and reporting
- Ability to understand client business context and position staffing solutions accordingly
- Strong discipline around CRM hygiene, daily reporting, and structured follow-up
Special Requirements
- This is a field-responsible, office-based role — candidate must be comfortable with both desk-based outreach and direct client meetings
- Minimum 1 year of B2B business development experience is mandatory — candidates without this will not be considered
- Prior experience selling services (staffing, SaaS, consulting, or similar) over products is strongly preferred
- Must be willing to operate in a high-accountability, metric-driven environment with defined client acquisition targets
