Position Overview:
The Assistant District Sales Manager will support district sales growth by developing and managing field teams, driving customer acquisition, and ensuring operational excellence across assigned talukas. The role requires hands-on field involvement, disciplined reporting, and a strong ability to lead and motivate on-ground sales teams to meet and exceed targets.
Qualifications:
Graduate preference for sales, marketing, or management backgrounds
Prior experience in field sales, team coordination, or grassroots operations
Ability to work with structured targets and execution frameworks
Strong understanding of reporting, process adherence, and performance governance
Key Responsibilities:
Drive end-to-end sales execution within assigned talukas
Build and manage a result-oriented team of Sales Associates
Provide continuous product and sales methodology guidance to field teams
Conduct daily performance discussions and accountability reviews
Ensure timely submission of daily reports for all team members
Track team goals and ensure achievement of monthly and weekly targets
Collaborate with district leadership for planning, coordination, and escalations
Monitor field activity, identify performance gaps, and drive corrective action
Maintain disciplined documentation and reporting standards
Skills Required:
Proven ability to build, coach, and monitor field sales teams
Strong verbal communication for reporting, coordination, and training
High accountability and discipline in daily tracking and follow-ups
Target-driven execution mindset with comfort in field operations
Ability to train, motivate, and review Sales Associates and Coordinators
Problem-solving ability with a structured approach to team performance
Special Requirements:
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geography
Comfort working with large teams and multiple performance trackers
Strong commitment to daily reporting and structured execution
Ability to recruit, train, and retain productive field staff
Ownership mindset with readiness to work independently on the ground
