Position Overview:
The Video Editor will be responsible for producing engaging short-form and long-form video content aligned with the company’s social media and branding objectives. This role requires hands-on involvement in shooting, editing, and repurposing content for multiple platforms such as Instagram and YouTube.
The ideal candidate brings a creative perspective, technical editing expertise, and an understanding of visual storytelling that enhances brand positioning and audience engagement.
Qualifications:
Any Graduate from a recognized institution
6–12 months of practical experience in video editing and content creation
Exposure to social media content production (Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, podcasts)
Basic understanding of cinematography and visual composition
Key Responsibilities:
Shoot and edit short-form content, including Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
Edit long-form content such as YouTube videos and podcasts
Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form clips for social platforms
Apply cinematography principles during shoots to ensure high visual quality
Create supporting graphic elements to enhance video presentation
Ensure timely delivery of content aligned with brand guidelines and platform standards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute content strategies effectively
Skills Required:
Proficiency in professional tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
Demonstrated experience editing both short-form and long-form video formats
Strong understanding of transitions, pacing, audio syncing, and color correction
Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize visually engaging content
Basic graphic design capability to enhance thumbnails, overlays, and branding elements
Special Requirements:
Hands-on experience shooting and editing short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
Ability to convert long-form content into high-performing short clips
Working knowledge of cinematography techniques
Practical proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
