Position Overview:
The Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager – Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring optimal machine uptime, preventive maintenance planning, and breakdown management across manufacturing operations. The role is critical in driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, maintaining compliance standards, and leading maintenance teams to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or related field

5–8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing maintenance

Strong exposure to preventive and breakdown maintenance systems

Experience working within compliance-driven manufacturing environments preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Lead troubleshooting and breakdown resolution to minimize production downtime

Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and utilities

Oversee maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions

Ensure compliance with IATF documentation and maintenance standards

Monitor utilities performance and verify system efficiency

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and reports

Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components

Identify and implement improvement initiatives including Poka Yoke mechanisms

Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure seamless operations

Supervise and guide maintenance team members for performance effectiveness

Skills Required:
5–8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing maintenance

Oversee maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

Expertise in preventive and breakdown maintenance planning

Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies
