Position Overview:
The Sr. Production Engineer (Foam) will lead production planning and execution for PU Foam operations, ensuring optimal resource utilization, cost control, and performance efficiency. This role is critical in driving productivity improvements, maintaining inventory accuracy, achieving OEE and sales compliance targets, and ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, logistics, and management functions.

Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial or related field preferred)

8+ years of experience in core production and planning, preferably in PU Foam manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement production schedules aligned with customer demand and sales plans

Monitor and manage Raw Material (RM) and Finished Goods (FG) inventory for optimal stock levels

Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials effectively to meet production targets

Monitor production costs and drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations

Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) to enhance operational efficiency

Utilize data analytics to monitor trends, forecast production, and support decision-making

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards across production activities

Monitor OEE (>80%) and OLE (>90%) performance benchmarks

Conduct weekly sales reviews and ensure sales compliance above 90%

Analyze delivery losses against production schedules and address deviations

Review monthly variance between system stock and physical stock

Actively participate in MRM, YTT, budgeting, and management review meetings

Address production issues proactively to minimize operational disruptions

Skills Required:
Strong strategic thinking and structured production planning capability

Demonstrated leadership in managing shop-floor teams and cross-functional coordination

Advanced problem-solving and analytical decision-making skills

Strong communication and presentation skills for management reporting

Ability to drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives

Sound understanding of quality compliance and performance metrics

Special Requirements:
Hands-on experience in PU Foam production, including adhesive/gumming, cutting, and stitching processes

Exposure to suppliers OEM, B2B, and aftermarket segments.

Self-motivated/strong interpersonal skills.

Strong execution strategies.
