Position Overview:

The Service Advisor – Front Office will be the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop, responsible for ensuring a smooth, transparent, and professional service experience. The role involves accurately capturing customer requirements, coordinating with the workshop team, and ensuring timely, quality-driven vehicle delivery in line with OEM standards.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma / ITI / Degree in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automobile dealership or workshop preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers, understand their concerns, and conduct a joint vehicle walk-around to record existing damages and service needs
  • Prepare accurate job cards and cost estimates (labour, parts, taxes), and obtain customer approval before proceeding with work
  • Work closely with technicians and other teams to ensure jobs move smoothly, parts are available on time, and issues are quickly flagged
  • Keep customers updated on repair status, additional work, or delays, and secure approvals through proper channels
  • Ensure quality-checked, completed vehicles are delivered professionally with proper documentation, following OEM service standards throughout

Skills Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to understand customer complaints and communicate clearly throughout the service journey
  • Good understanding of periodic maintenance and general repairs, with the ability to translate complaints into accurate job-card concerns
  • Ability to prepare cost estimates, explain them to customers, and handle objections effectively
  • Strong follow-up skills to coordinate with the workshop and other departments for timely job completion
  • Proficiency in automotive DMS/service software and MS Office to manage documentation and multiple vehicles efficiently under pressure

  • Ability to handle difficult customers calmly and professionally
  • Sound coordination skills to work closely with technicians and other departments for smooth job flow
  • Willingness to work at the Hadapsar location as assigned
